Like most engineers, we love Excel spreadsheets but believe there are inherent limitations with Excel in terms of security, reliability, accuracy and features required for complex engineering calculations.
We believe web apps play a key role in the future of engineering design and analysis and therefore we are developing CEAD. CEAD is a platform for Inovar’s engineering analysis tools; our first project is automating structural design and analysis of Overhead Line structure. This is currently in Beta testing. INPUTS
Add all design inputs including wire runs, ancillary wires, anchors, ties, etc.. This can also be imported using our templates. The information required is obtained from cross section, layout plan and wire run validation sheets.
3D ModelLING and analysis
Check 3D model to ensure structure geometry is constructed accurately. If all inputs are completed, model can now be solved.
